Daxing Waterfall Memorial Park

The park was originally "Daxing Landslide Memorial Park", a memorial to the 40-odd people who died when Typhoon Toraji triggered a landslide in 2001. To help people move on from the disaster, the park was later renamed Daxing Waterfall Memorial Park. The park is tranquil and the expansive meadow is very pleasant. The waterside park has been rebuilt and is a favorite place for locals to go to cool down in summer.
