Sichongxi Hot Springs

During the Japanese colonial era, Sichongxi, Yangmingshan, Beitou and Guanziling were regarded as Taiwan's four top hot springs. Prince Nobuhito, younger brother of the Emperor hirohito, visited Sichongxi on his honeymoon. A private hot-spring room for the prince's exclusive use was built and it is still well maintained today.

Xuhai Hot Spring

Surrounded by verdant forest, Xuhai Village has great views over the Pacific Ocean and abundant hot springs water. The average temperature of the weak alkaline carbonate water of Xuhai's spring is 43.5°C. The high quality spring water is clear, colorless, and odorless.

Lili Hiking Trail

Lili Village has a well-maintained hiking trail from the gate to the ridge. Hikers can take a rest or participate in leisure activities at Yillao or Erliao. The back section of the trail is challenging, but visitors who are confident of their abilities and well equipped can hike the trail from Yuanshan Forest gate to the triangulation point atop the mountain.
