Jibei Ceiba Forest

Jibei Ceiba Forest

Wutai Slate Houses

The Presbyterian Church at the center of the village was established by national maestro Valialane and has become a spiritual landmark of the Rukai people. All kinds of slate houses were also constructed as individual pieces of art for people to appreciate and experience Rukai culture.

Wutai Cherry Blossoms

Taiwanese cherry trees have been growing here since the Japanese colonial period. Over the last decade, Wutai Township Office has been holding "Cherry Season" activities each year, inviting the public to enjoy over 300 Taiwan cherry and Japanese flowering cherry trees along Taiwan Highway 24, making Wutai the "home of the cherry blossoms."

Anpo Tribe (Djinejepan)

The Beauty Mountain Path inside the village enables visitors to see eagles hovering in the sky. The residents are descendants of the Raval subgroup of the Paiwan tribe, and they share the same mythic and historical origins with those in Duwasawasai Cavake, Valjulu, and Sagaran, Sandimen Township.

Pinghe Tribe (Piuma)& Jibei Ceiba Forest

"Piuma" was the Paiwan name of this village before it's relocation. Piuma is also called the "home of the nose flute"since most residents know how to play this musical instrument. One unique characteristic of Piuma is it's "black forest." The forest has been there since the Japanese colonial era. It is unique became it changes every season, creating a different, yet beautiful, view four times a year. The village also offers a one-day DIY craft camp where visitors can enjoy tribal workmanship as well observe local ecological highlights.

Majia Peach Blossom Garden

The garden is located in a mountainous area about 1,077m above sea level and occupies approximately 1.9 hectares of land on which there are many peaches. If visitors are lucky and visit the garden on a cloudy day with adequate humidity, they will be able to appreciate a sea of clouds while enjoying a cup of Majia coffee along with the garden view. Wada Tribe Development Association, founded by the local proprietor, now offers guided tours to visitors.
