Hehuan Mountain, red-hairy rhododendrons

Every spring along Provincial Highway No.14 from Puli to Wushe, Cherry trees blossom abundantly. Taiwan Cherry trees have long blossom times and are seen mostly around National Ren-ai Vocational Agricultural Senior High School in the Wushe area. It is the best place to savor the beauty of Cherry blossoms in spring. Meifeng Farm is also not to be missed. The farm cultivates countless types of flowers which display picturesque changes according to the seasons. Sun Link Sea Ecological Education Park is also boasting it's four seasons' different florescence. It's spring blooms such as cherry, peony and tulip are quite well-known.

Nantou is an important place for cut-flower production in Taiwan. From Caotun rose&flower production park, Tai Yi Ecological Leisure Farm, T.K. Herb Farm and other flower production parks, roses, anthuriums, carnations and orchids bloom in succession in all seasons. There is also the tung flower season at the New Era Art Resort&SPA in Puli that is , again, fascinating.

The Formosa lily and rhododendron lapponicum on Hehuan Mountain bloom from the end of spring to July in summer. They are simply stunning! Aowanda is the home of maple trees. It is a well-known popular place in Taiwan for admiring maple foliage. The plum parks around Fengguidou, Wusonglun and Niuchoukeng in Xinyi Township and Jiufen'ershan, Guoxing Township are enchanting during the cold winter season as plum flowers in full bloom look like snow.
