Yushan National Park

Chihnan Forest Recreation Area

Chihnan Forest Recreation Area is known for it's southern Liyu Lake. It's located high in the mountains, visitors can enjoy the sights around Liyu Lake. The park was a site for logging in earlier times. It was later transformed into a Forest Recreation Area.

Lintianshan Forest Park

Lintianshan used to be the largest logging yard in eastern Taiwan. It was once prosperous in the history. It has left many buildings, houses, shops, theaters and other cultural relics.

Danongdafu Forest Park

Danongdafu is a new scenic spot on the east rift valley plain. The integration of the natural and cultural along with agricultural and communal resources has made this place a unique spot. The park has the longest forest Bikeway on the island.

Fuyuan Forest Recreation Area

Fuyuan Forest Recreation Area is located in Fuyuan Village, Reishuei Township. There are 70 hectares of camphor tree forest . The park thus releases a lot of phytoncid and camphor essence. It is ideal for hiking.

Day Lily Mountain

Sixty Stone Mountain in Fuli Township and Chihke Mountain in Yulin Township are both famous for their hills covered with beautiful day lilies. Winding mountain roads overlook the stretches of magnificent flowers.

Yushan National Park

Yushan National Park has many scenic spots including, Nanan Tourist Center, Nanan Waterfall, Shanfong Waterfall and Walami Old Trail. It is the only entrance to Yushan (Jade Mountain) from Hualien.

Little Tianxiang

Little Tianxiang on Fu Tung Road is eroded and formed by the Turtle River. It had cut out a steep canyon and horizontal landscape similar to the Central Cross gorge and thus has become a tourist attraction.
