Henan Temple
Henana Temple
Henana Temple is a hall of Buddhist art. It is situated in the mountains and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The grand statue of Guanyin was built by Chuenxing Zen Master and sculptor Yuyu Yang.
Chin Lien Temple
Ching Lien Temple has a hundred years of history. The walls and internal floors were built with Ruisui building materials which made the temple a unique type of Buddhist temple.
Saoba Ruin
The ruin is the site where a pair of stone pillars stand. It is situated on the north side of the Wuhe platform. The pillars are dated about three thousand years ago. It is Taiwan's only know prehistoric megalithic remains.
Xietien Temple
Xietien Temple was built in 1875. It is the very first temple built in Hualien. It is dedicated to the god Guan Sheng Di Jun. Guan Sheng Di Jun Festival are the most important annual celebrations for the temple.
Yuli Shrine
The Yuli Shrine was built in 1928. The old temple is part of Hualien's historical buildings now.
Gongpu Ruins
Gongpu Ruins, located in Fuli Township,date back five to seven thousand years. There are more than then different prehistoric ruins in the township and are now listed as Third Grade Historical Buildings. It is also a representative ruin of the Beinan Cultural.
