Introduction

Kenting National park is the first national park in Taiwan with 15206.09 hectares on sea and 18083.50 hectares on land.Kenting National Park is and enormous park which obtains 33,289.59 hectares in total with lush tropical forests and abounding plants and birds inside the park. Red-tailed shrike, red-bellied eagle, grey-faced buzzard and orioles fly to Kenting National Park from August every year to the spring next year.

Environmental Education Theme

Prolific ecological resources are in the park, such as coral reefs, limestone terrain, coastal forests, tropical monsoon forest and pre-historical marine sites that are rare natural landscapes in Taiwan. The diversified geologica and topographical environment along with the special weather of the area composed complex marine/mountain plant communities. Animals and plants in Kenting National Park are distinctive and thus is the ideal place to do an eco-tourism.
