Dajin Waterfall

Dajin Waterfall has five layers. The first and second layers are small but are much more visitor-friendly. The third, fourth, and fifth layers are in the inner mountains so visitors who want to access them should be well equipped. From a pavilion beside the trail, visitors can over the Pingtung plain when taking a rest. Dajin Waterfall is located in Dajin Scenic Area, 2km from the northern end of the Mountainside Highway (County Highway 185).

Liangshan Waterfall

Access to Liangshan Waterfall is so easy it attracts many visitors who enjoy playing in the cool water during the holidays. Liangshan Waterfall and Dajin Waterfall are both famous water recreation areas along the Mountain Highway. Liangshan Fall is located at Liangshan Village, by the 29.5km marker on County Highway 185.

Saichia Air Sports Park

Saichia Air Sports Park is a must-visit destination in Sandimen Township. It's location is about 700m above sea level so visitors can overlook the expansive Pingtung Plain, as well as beautiful fields and rivers. Thanks to it's perfect environment and climate, the park is an excellent place for hang gliding and paragliding, and also they only place where these two activities can be done in Asia during the winter. Dalukuan Theme Park

With the Daguan River, a water park, a tropical botanical garden, various kinds of cacti and a Bali-style pavilion, Dalukuan Theme Park is the first amusement park where holidaymakers can enjoy a Bali-like travel experience.

Sandimen Museum

Since 2005, ancient relics have been displayed in this museum. Visitors can see glass beads, bronze knives, pottery pots and wooden sculptures. Films about folklore and Paiwan arts are played in the multimedia hall. The chairs in the lobby are made of driftwood, and there are good views over the Ailiao River.
