One of the most attractive facilities in the museum is the clear 84-meter-long undersea tunnel where visitors can feel as though they are walking through the ocean surrounded by coral and tropical fish. The museum also has regular and very popular feeding shows.
Fuan Temple in Checheng Township
Fuan Temple may well be the biggest Land God temple in Taiwan, and it is an important religious center for residents. It's ghost-money furnace was designed placed at the mouth of the furnace is sucked in automatically.
Fangliao Art Village
The main building of Fangliao Art Village used to be a railway workers' dormitory. Various artists and societies have been invited to be stationed in the village.
Shuidiliao Historic Houses
These houses were built in the "sanheyuan" style, which literally means a courtyard surrounded by three buildings. The design is delicate and sophisticated, and these old dwellings have profound cultural and historical meanings because they present the lifestyle and wisdom of Taiwanese people's ancestors.
Huaqiao Market
It is located behind the pier where ferries to Little Liuqiu are boarded. Local people used to name outsides "Huaqiao," hence the market's name. Various types of fish can be found here at reasonable prices. After buying fish, there are eateries that will cool them for you.
Donglong Temple
Established in 1706 during the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt at it's present location in 1894, this temple is the religious center of Donggang. The King Boat Ceremony, held every three years, is a very important religious activity as well as a significant cultural event in Taiwan.
Beishiliao Baoan Temple
Beishiliao Baoan Temple, whose main god is Baosheng Dadi, is 140 years old . In 2006, a new temple was built next to the old temple because of a road widening project. However, some parts of the old temple have been preserved because the sculptures and paintings are artistically and culturally meaningful.
