Bantaoyao Crafts Studio of Jiao-Zhi Pottery&Chien-Nien

Suantou Sugar-Cane Factory (Jhecheng Culture Park)

Suantou Sugar-Cane Factory used to be the 3rd largest sugar-cane factory in Taiwan during Japanese colonization. The factory stopped it's operations and was transformed into a culture park in 2002. The park is divided into 5 sections, including the sugar business section, the railway business section, the historical buildings, the mini-trains and the humanity section. Tourists are recommended to take mini trains to explore the sugar-cane factory, have old-fashioned ice bar and local foods.

Fengtain Temple

This temple in Singang is the most important belief center for the Chianan Plain residents. The Goddess of the Ocean(Mazu), the Emperor of the Gods, the Town God, the Goddess of Mercy, the God of Tube Drama, the God of Education, and the Tiger God are some of the deities worshipped in the temple. In front of Sanchuandian stand a pair of samil stone lions made of Qingdoushi, dating from Ching Dynasty. The temple attracts a lot of believes every Chinese New Year's Eve and on Mazu's birthday in March of the lunar calendar, and during Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage Procession. On the Chinese New Year's Eve, the person who is able to put the first incense in the incense burner after Fengtian Temple opens it's gate around 11pm, he or she will have the best luck in the coming year.

Bantaoyao Crafts Studio of Jiao-Zhi Pottery&Chien-Nien

Located in Singang Township, the studio is constructed in the Chinese Classical Gardening style by using cochin ceramic and mosaic elements in 2005. The studio is divided into a Cochin Ceramic Hall, a pottery area, a DIY area, a drinking area, and a attempt their own mosaic decor at the DIY room.

Dingcaiyuan Rural Cultural Village

This museum is a restoration of countryside village life in Taiwan during the 1950's. Inside the museum, there are displays of traditional tools, such as old style cattle-carried carts, old wells, Baxian Tables (arts and craft tables), old style groceries, and a hog house that has been transformed into an Inn. An old style telephone pole and bus stop can also be seen at the museum. It is a great place for old time fans and culture lovers.

Singang Incense Artistic Culture Garden

Singang Incense Artistic Culture Garden is the first incense culture industry house in Taiwan. The culture house maintains the traditional technology of incense for sacrifice and intensifies the culture of Incense Arts. It also provide DIY incense-making and displays incense ingredients. There are many varieties of incenses, amulets and incense aromas here. The Culture Garden is a place that truly demonstrates the importance of incense in our daily life.

Solar Exploration Center

The Center is the largest city landmark among the 16 countries where the Tropic of Cancer goes through. Outside the building there is a Sun Square. Inside, the Solar Exploration Center contains a 9-planet Water-Playing area, along with other displays that include a Time Trail&Green Tunnel, an Astrology Area, an Ancient Astronomy Walk, an Ancient Astronomy Area, an Exhibition Area of signs from all generations, and an Imaginary Line of the Tropic of Cancer.
