Liukong Station, Taijiang National Park

Taijiang National Park is established in December 2009 and is the eighth National Park in Taiwan. Taijiang features the various and constantly-changing characteristics of coastal area and ancient waterways. The exhibition hall at Liukong Station gives multimedia interaction area and model displays which let visitors learn more about the history, natural environment and industries inside the National Park.

Wharf Recreation Area - Liukong Wharf、Nanwan Wharf、Hailiao Wharf、Longshan Wharf

There are four wharfs around the Cigu Lagoon. Visitors can take a ride on the raft, and leave for the sandbar "Wangziliaoshan." Over the Lagoon, visitors can see many various types of oyster cribwork and fishing nets, which are used to catch fishes (due to the different depth of the water) and the migrant bird, Cormorants.

Cigu Lagoon

Gigu Lagoon the largest lagoon in Taiwan, is comprised of "Dingtoueshan," "Wanziliaoshan," and "Cingshangangshan." Lagoon prevents flood, and offers protection to the coast, and gives rich marine birds habitats. Fishermen also catch fishes and cultivate oyster here.
