Sanjan River Golden Gorge

Sanjan River Golden Gorge is located within Taroko National Park. The gorge is beautiful and deep. A great place for eco-tourism. "Golden Gorge" is a popular place for river tracing adventures.

Qixintan Beach

The crescent gulf of Qixintan has fascinating sightseeing trails and beach pavilions. Visitors can enjoy the star-watching square and other facilities.

Meiluen Riverbank Park

Meiluen Riverbank Park is the largest green space along the riverside in Hualien City. Along  the river there are old Japanese houses to visit, an arched bridge and a wooden bridge.

Liyu Lake

Liyu Lake is charming whether you are in the paddle boat on the lake or cycling around the lake, it is a great spot to observe nature and enjoy the charm of the lake.

Shueilian & Niu Mountain

Follow the small roads and go down to the beach, you will find a rich ecosystem here. This is a great place to hike, take a walk, bird-watch, butterfly-watch and engage in other related activities.

Baqi

Baqi lookout is the high ground along the coastal highway. From here, one can see Jici beach to the south and a hierarchical series of strange coastal landscape.

Jici Beach Recreation Area

Jici beach is located in Fengbin Township. It is one of the rare sandy beach on the East Coast. It is extremely beautiful with great costal mountains on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.

Shihtiping

The Shihtiping terrain was shaped by the sea. The coast is rich in coral reefs and tropical fish. Great for observing the inter-tidal zone, diving and fishing.

Yuedong (Moon Cave)

Yuedong is a natural stalactite cave. Water drips into the cave to form a lake. It is about five meters deep, the lake fluctuates with the moon. It is also known as a"moonwell".

Changhong Bridge

Changhong Bridge crosses the Hsiukuluan River. It connects the JIngpu and Gongko tribes to be the end point of river rafting. The new Changhong Bridge is bright and rosy and is set with a viewing platform overlooking the rafts and river for tourists.
