The 36 turns of Taping

Alishan's "north route of tea" starts for Meishan and passes through Taping, Bihu, Taising, Rueifong, Rueili until it reaches Taihe. It is an elegant travel route filed with the scent of tea and flowers. Wisteria blossoms announce the beginning of spring each year, Butterfly Gingers take over at the beginning of summer and are replaced by fragrant ginger lilies in mid-summer,while fireflies light up the night like stars for complete array of recreational facilities; Tea Culture House (Meishan Farmer's Association), Ruitai Visitor Center, Yuantan Ecological Park and Taping Village Old Street are all extremely popular attractions. At 1,200 meters high the Bihu Green Lake Tea Park is located amongst the mountains; at it's top an observatory with a vast 360 degree view, where it is often surrounded by a beautiful sea of clouds; it is an exceptionally refreshing place to enjoy cuisine with high mountain tea.
