Launched in 1984, the sprawling Guoguang Flower Market accommodates around 300 vendors. It is a famous holiday flower marketplace in Taichung and has a food court offering local delicacies right on it's premises. This family-friendly facility is open 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat.-Sun.

921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan

This museum offers comprehensive archival information about the 921 Earthquake that struck Taiwan on Sept. 21, 1999 and the subsequent changes in geological formations. It's multi-exhibit facilities, including the Chelungpu Fault Gallery Earthquake Engineering Hall, Image Gallery, Disaster Prevention Hall, and Reconstruction Records Hall, give visitors a better understanding of this particular type of natural disaster as well as lessons learned. In the museum's realistic setting, where visitors will be awed by the quake's destructive seismic forces, earthquake knowledge is effectively imparted to ensure a learning experience that is hardly available anywhere else in the world!

Tianjin Road Clothing Shopping District:

1.Alight from the bus at Taichung Park (Shuangshi Rd.)stop, change to Bus No.61 and get off at Tianjin Shopping Area Stop.

2.Take No. 6,9,101,108,115 and get off at Tianjin Shopping Area stop.

Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium:

From Taichung Train Station, take Bus No.58 or 71 outside the station and get off at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Station and get off at the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium Stop. Cross the street and walk for 5 minutes to reach the stadium.

Guoguang Flower Market in Dali:

Take Bus No. 50 or 59 and get off at Guoguang Flower Market stop (across the street from McDonald's)

Alight from the bus at 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan stop by the parking lot outside the museum and follow the signs to the entrance.
