Core Reserve Area

The ponds, marshes, and mudflats of Guandu create diverse habitats in which wetland organisms occupy. To minimize disturbance, access to this area is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, you can easily observe the reedbeds, ponds, and mudflat through the spotting scopes available in the Nature Center.

Outdoor Observational Area

South-east Birdwatching Area: Gardening and birdwatching hides.

South-west Birdwatching Area: Boardwalk and birdwatching hides.

Embankment: Birdwatching areas and a bikeway.

Guandu Nature Reserve: 55 hectares of mangrove forest managed by Department of Economic Development, Taipei City Government.

Transportation

By MRT: Take the Tamsui Line to Guandu Station, then take transfer buses R35 or S23 or walk ( 10 minutes ).

By Bus: Take bus 302 to 關渡國中(Guandu Junior High School) station, then follow the school fence to the park (3minutes).

By Car: Parking is available.
