Hakka Culture & Customs
The Liudui region is rich in Hakka culture and customs. Hakka people settled here a long time ago, and the term "Liudui" means "six teams" because, in the 19th century,local defense units organized themselves into six groups. The six teams were Youdui (Right Team), Zhongdui (Middle Team)Xianfengdui (Vanguard Team), Houdui (Back Team),Qiandui(Front Team),and Zoudui(Left Team).
