Jiaobanshan

Located in Fuhsing Township of Taoyuan County, Jiaobanshan is well known for the theater terrace overlooking Xikou Tableland. According to a prevailing legend, in the 12th Year of Kuang Hsu Qing Dynasty(1886), Liu Ming-chuan was the Taiwan governor at that time. He saw the mountain peak was raising high like a horn and the river terrace was as smooth as a board and he therefore named it"Jiaobanshan" (meaning horn-board mountain). The place reminded Jiang Jie-Shi (Chiang Kai-shek) of his hometown at Xikou Township, Fenghua County, Zhejiang Province, and therefore named the river terrace under Jiaobanshan as "Xikou Terrace". Jiaobanshan villa was built because of his love of the place and it's beautiful scenery.

Camphor Collection Station

The camphor exportation from Fuxing Township was properous during the Japanese colonial period. The collection station was the location for picking and selling camphor at that time. Siqinting Pavilion

This was Jiang Jie-Shi (Chiang Kai-shek)'s favorite villa, where the Siqinting Pavilion inside offers a broad view and scenery that resembles Jiang's hometown. Jiang Jie-shi (Chiang Kai-shek) passed away in 1975 and wrote the essay titled "Remembering my father at the Plum Pavilion".

Wealth, peace and joy

The magpies habituate on the thrifty branches of tall trees with emerald greenness. This is an ideal place for people to take a break with the shelter from the tree and the coolness from the refreshing breeze. Such valuable old tree symbolizes wealth, peace and joy, portraying the origin of early legends and commemorating the blessings.

Jiaobanshan Shelter Trail

The shelter trail was first revealed among the guards of Chiang Kai-shek, which main function is to serve as alternative emergency backup shelter route to Dahan Xihsui Road in the event that the outbound  road to the military channel was blocked.

Military Back-up Tunnel

The military back-up tunnel, with 100 meters in length, 4 meters in width, and 3 meters in height, was specially designed for a shelter and a military command post at urgent times.

Xikou Tableland

Xikou Tableland is a high river terrace that forms the semi-circular terrace landscape at the meander due to river corrosion, moving and sediment. It looks like a theater and is also known as "Theater Terrace.

Ecological Pond

The natural environment of the ecological pond and the surrounding wooden footpaths create a recreational environment near water. The place serves well as a site for ecological education.
