Bunun Museum

Bunun Museum is a majestic three-story building covered with wooden totems in both it's interior and exterior. The ground floor is the Southern Cross-Island Tour Guide Service Center, providing complete travel consulting services. The Story House on the second floor often holds special exhibitions according to different themes. The permanent exhibition area and auditorium on the third floor display equipments, clothings and other objects of the traditional Bunun culture.

Wulu Gorge

This is an s-shaped gorge in the Sinwulyu River between Wulu and Lidao. The river is situated next to the Southern Cross-Island Highway  and ajacent to many steep cliffs. With an exceptional lanscape and marvelous geography, Wulu Gorge certainly lives up to the reputation of being the most famous scene in the Southern Cross-Island area.

Tianlong Suspension Bridge

The Tianlong Suspension Bridge next to Tianlong Hotel is the entrance of an old trail. This bridge stretches over Wulu Canyon and is about 110m long and 40m high. The bridge is made of iron chain and it's width only allow 2 passengers at once. Connecting the steep cliffs without any support of piers, the bridge presents a challenging experience.

Yakou

Yakou is the country boundary of Taitung Country and Kaohsiung County. With the main attraction of Daguan Mountain Tunnel at 2,722 meters above sea level, it is the highest point of the Southern Cross-Island Highway and also the best place to view oceans and sunrise.

Jiamin Lake

Located at the altitude of 3,310, Jiamin Lake is comparable to a beautiful sapphire. The lake is roughly the size of a track-and-field stadium; and even without inflowing streams; the lake never dries up due to the vast supply of rainwater all-year-round. According to legends, it is believed that the lake is formed from an angel's tears,and therefore the lake is also sometimes referred to as"Angel's Tears." The lake is also sometimes called the"Egg Pool," as it is shaped like an egg
