Nanhua Dist is in the southeast of Tainan City. The Central Mountain lies to the east of Nanhua while the district neighbors Kaohsiung City and Dapu of Chayi County. Nanhua has two reservoirs, Wushan Hiking Track, which the local also calls it Green Long Wall, Nanhua Ecological Park, Baoguangshengtang Temple and Wushan Formosan Rock-Monkey Conservation Area.
